Android flagship OnePlus 15 now supports Apple’s AirDrop via Quick Share, aligning it with Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones. The feature enables direct file transfer between iOS and Android, eliminating the need for third‑party apps.

The rollout follows Google’s 2023 introduction of AirDrop for Pixel 10‑series and Samsung’s later inclusion in the Galaxy S26 and older models. Android Authority confirms the update appears only on the OnePlus 15, with no plans for older OnePlus devices.

Consumers benefit from seamless cross‑ecosystem sharing, a long‑awaited convenience that blurs platform boundaries. The move enhances OnePlus’s appeal in a market where interoperability matters.

At present, users must keep their software and Quick Share app current to access the feature. No indications exist that the feature will extend beyond the OnePlus 15 line.
