Motorola Razr 2026 charging specs and battery upgrades

Motorola’s 2026 Razr lineup finally gets batteries that can sprint from empty, still able to be quickly topped up. The base Razr 2026 pushes 30W wired and 15W wireless into a 4,800 mAh pack, while the mid‑tier Razr Plus steps up to 45W wired with the same 15W wireless rate on a slightly smaller 4,500 mAh cell. Both upper models add 5W reverse charging.

At the top sits the Razr Ultra 2026, packing a 5,000 mAh battery that drinks 68W wired power and 30W wireless—fast enough to refill in minutes when paired with a compatible charger. It also supports 5W reverse wireless, letting users juice watches or earbuds. Under the hood, the flip runs Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, launching with Android 16.

Even though the charging rates mirror the prior generation, the enlarged cells give each model noticeably longer unplugged time—a welcome tweak for foldable adopters who’ve long complained about endurance. By keeping wired and wireless speeds identical across the range, Motorola simplifies accessory choices, while the Ultra’s premium chipset positions the Razr as more than a novelty, delivering flagship performance in a flip form factor.
