X has officially launched X Money in the United States, expanding beyond its invite-only beta. The service is now available to Premium and Premium+ subscribers.

X Money integrates a deposit account, peer-to-peer payments, and a Visa debit card. Users can send, receive, or request money instantly and without fees. Premium+ subscribers can earn up to 6% APY, with Premium subscribers eligible after meeting direct-deposit requirements. Eligible X Card purchases offer 3% cash back.

A virtual X Card is automatically issued and can be added to Apple Pay via Apple Wallet. Users can also opt for a physical metal card, with personalization options for names and the inclusion of their X username. Deposit accounts are held at Cross River Bank, Member FDIC. New users may receive a $15 welcome deposit.
