Apple TV's Ted Lasso season 4 release date has been revealed by star Hannah Waddingham. The actress confirmed during a BAFTAs interview that the highly anticipated season will premiere in August 2026, three years after season 3 wrapped.

Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Welton, shared the timing while discussing the new season's direction. The upcoming season will feature Jason Sudeikis' character coaching a women's team dubbed "our Lady Greyhounds." The August release positions Ted Lasso to air shortly after the 2026 World Cup, which runs through July in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

This timing marks a return to the show's original premiere pattern, as season 1 debuted in August 2020 and season 2 in July 2021. Apple TV+ subscribers can access the series for $12.99 per month or through discounted Apple One bundles. The confirmation comes after Apple initially announced only a "summer" premiere window last month.
