macOS 27 iPhone Mirroring Gets Three Major Upgrades

I use iPhone Mirroring daily to access my iPhone from my Mac, and macOS 27 Golden Gate and iOS 27 public betas bring three key improvements. The biggest change is resizable window support, replacing the previous three preset sizes. As my colleague Marcus reported, resizing works with Apple's native iOS 27 apps now, with third-party support coming later this year. This signals Apple is preparing for the foldable iPhone Ultra expected later in 2025.

iPhone Mirroring in macOS 27 also adds Control Center access via CMD+4 keyboard shortcut or the View menu, which was previously unavailable. DRM video support now allows watching protected content without black screens. A new app icon matches other refreshed stock Apple apps in macOS 27.

These updates arrive in the current public betas. How often do you use iPhone Mirroring? Are you excited for these changes? Share your thoughts in the comments.
