Apple has unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, introducing significant upgrades over the iPhone 17 Pro. The most notable change is the new 48MP Fusion Main camera with a variable aperture, allowing users to switch between f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8, and f/4.0. This feature, combined with six laser-cut blades, enhances depth-of-field control and low-light performance. The camera also includes updated Photographic Styles and pro controls for shutter, white balance, and histogram.

Under the hood, the A20 Pro chip delivers a major performance boost. Built on a 2nm process, it features a 6-core CPU and 7-core GPU, offering 40% faster graphics and improved efficiency. The new Dual 16-core Neural Engine doubles AI capabilities, while a 50% increase in memory bandwidth and a second-generation vapor chamber enhance sustained performance.

Design-wise, the iPhone 18 Pro retains a similar look but introduces new colors: Burgundy, Glacier, Black, and Silver. The back now has a more unified color blend between the glass and aluminum frame, and the Dynamic Island is redesigned with a smaller footprint, supporting up to three simultaneous Live Activities.

Battery life sees notable improvements, especially on the Pro Max, which now offers up to 45 hours of video playback. Both models support faster wired charging, reaching 50% in just 15 minutes. Overall, the iPhone 18 Pro series focuses on camera innovation, performance, and refined design.
