iOS 27.3 has entered beta testing with major new features for Siri AI across iPhone, iPad and Mac. The update unlocks new capabilities across major Apple apps including Music, Messages, Safari, Reminders and Photos. With the Music app, users can now create and save playlists using voice commands, such as making a "playlist for songs for a day at the beach." In Messages, Siri can schedule texts, edit and unsend messages, and respond with emoji reactions.
Photos gets new capabilities to favorite images, rotate and edit photos, and rename people and pets. The Calendar app now lets users create events with invitees, location and video call links. Reminders introduces urgent reminder creation for the first time.
Safari users can create tap groups from URL lists, sort tabs, clear history and delete reading list items. Journal support allows text transcription and audio recording. Siri AI Files integration enables file content retrieval, creation, organization and renaming.
New features also extend to Weather, Maps, Preview and Shortcuts. Apple is opening this support to third-party developers. iOS 27.3 is currently in beta testing and will be released publicly later this year.
