iOS 26 Finally Delivers Working Order Tracking in Apple Wallet

Apple's Wallet app gets a major upgrade in iOS 26 with functional order tracking that finally delivers on its original promise. The feature launched years ago but failed to gain traction because online retailers never fully integrated with Apple's system, leaving most users unable to track their purchases through Wallet.

iOS 26 solves this with Apple Intelligence, using on-device AI to scan your email for order confirmations instead of relying on retailer partnerships. This bypasses the vendor cooperation problem entirely. The system extracts tracking information directly from order confirmation emails, making Wallet a true centralized hub for all your online purchases.

Enable the feature through Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Order Tracking, then toggle on Mail (Beta). Your device needs Apple Intelligence activated and your email configured in Apple Mail. When you receive an order email, tap the Track button in Mail to import it into Wallet automatically.

The updated interface consolidates all orders in one location, accessible via the three-dot menu in Wallet. Users can disable noisy app notifications while maintaining delivery alerts, and block merchants that incorrectly appear in their tracking list. This represents Apple's solution to a longstanding Wallet limitation that frustrated users since the feature's introduction.
