Apple rolled out a new Insights feature for Wallet in iOS 27 beta 2, bringing the financial tracking tool to US users for the first time. The feature appeared in beta 1 for select international markets, but today's release expands availability stateside.

Located under the three-dot menu in Wallet, Insights aggregates data from connected payment accounts to display spending patterns, recurring transactions, and account balances. Apple designed this tool to help users visualize their financial habits directly within the Wallet app.

The interface borrows heavily from Apple's Health app visualization design, applying similar organizational principles to spending data instead of activity or sleep metrics. Users can expect to see trend analysis and total spending breakdowns once their accounts sync.

This addition strengthens Apple Wallet as a comprehensive financial hub beyond just payments. By integrating spending analytics alongside cards and Apple Pay Cash, Apple is positioning Wallet as a direct competitor to dedicated budgeting apps. The feature launches with iOS 27 later this year.
