Following a confusing initial announcement that broke via third-party outlets, the service is now properly rolling out globally, allowing users to sign up through their profile settings.

Instagram Plus introduces 11 premium features designed to customize and elevate the user experience. Story Spotlight gives priority to your friends' stories, while Super Hearts provide animated reactions. Multiple Story Audiences allow for precise sharing control, and Story Extend extends content visibility to 48 hours.

The subscription also offers practical tools like Story Preview to view stories without pressure, Story Rewind Insights to track engagement, and Search Viewer List to see who viewed your stories. Customization options include custom app icons, bio fonts, and the ability to pin up to 6 posts, with Instagram planning to add more features over time.
