A new Omdia report details Apple's future Mac and iPad lineup through 2029. Key updates include a Late 2026 MacBook Pro and Ultra with 14.3-inch and 16.3-inch OLED displays. Early 2027 brings a refreshed MacBook Air with LCD screens. Mid 2027 sees the iPad Pro gaining OLED options in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes with COE technology. By Late 2027, the MacBook Pro/Ultra will add LTPO technology to its OLED panels. A 2029 MacBook model will feature a 13.6-inch OLED display with LTPO and COE support. The report notes that mini-LED MacBook Pro models will continue until at least 2028, potentially supporting the 'Ultra' branding for OLED versions. The 13.6-inch 2029 MacBook may be the previously rumored OLED MacBook Air. Notably, the MacBook Neo is absent, likely due to its budget status delaying display upgrades. Omdia also predicts an M5 Ultra chip option for the OLED MacBook Pro/Ultra, though this is viewed as speculation.

Apple continues to expand OLED integration across its portable lineup, shifting from mini-LED toward more power-efficient self-emissive displays in the coming years.
