Apple has seemingly confirmed a new iPad mini model exists after a French regulatory webpage listed a Smart Folio for model A3632 — a number not found in Apple's official device database. The leak, first spotted by MacRumors, aligns with long-standing rumors of an OLED-equipped iPad mini arriving before the end of 2026. The current iPad mini, powered by the A17 Pro, carries model A2993, while the iPhone 17e uses A3634, placing the new iPad mini in a similar sequence.
Previous model number leaks from August did not include A3632, making this the first official confirmation. The device is expected to feature increased water resistance and an OLED display, with an announcement anticipated at Apple’s October 28 event. This leak underscores how regulatory filings often reveal upcoming products before formal announcements.
