Apple has released new software updates for its devices, including tvOS 26.6, HomePod 26.6, and visionOS 26.6. These updates are rolling out to users now, alongside releases for iOS 26.6 and macOS 26.6.

The official release notes indicate that the focus of these updates is on "performance and stability improvements" and security enhancements. While users can expect their Apple TV 4K, HomePod, and Vision Pro devices to run more smoothly, no new user-facing features are included. This is because Apple is nearing the fall launch of the next major versions: tvOS 27, HomePod 27, and visionOS 27.

These upcoming updates, unveiled in June and currently in beta, are expected to launch in September. Notably, tvOS 27 will drop support for specific Apple TV models. Users with incompatible devices will remain on tvOS 26.6 and subsequent minor updates.
