Apple has released watchOS 26.6, the sixth update to its watchOS 26 operating system. This new version follows watchOS 26.5, which was released over two months prior.

watchOS 26.6 is available as a free download for iPhones running iOS 26.6. Users can initiate the update through the Apple Watch app by navigating to General > Software Update, or directly via the Settings app on the Apple Watch itself. For installation, the Apple Watch must have at least 50 percent battery and be connected to a charger.

According to Apple's official release notes, watchOS 26.6 includes unspecified bug fixes and crucial security updates.
