Apple is reportedly testing four new iPad Pro models, expected to maintain current 11-inch and 13-inch display sizes, for a spring 2027 release. These updates will primarily focus on internal enhancements, including faster chips and potentially improved cooling systems to sustain performance. The company last refreshed the iPad Pro lineup in October 2025 with the M5 chip.

Alongside the iPad Pro refresh, Apple is preparing a redesigned entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro for the first half of next year. This model will feature a new design, aligning with Apple's plans for higher-end MacBooks. A separate entry-level MacBook Pro with the current design and an M6 chip was also previously planned for this year.

Furthermore, Apple aims to introduce its M7 processor as early as the first half of 2027, accelerating chip development to better support demanding AI workloads. These product developments, however, could still face disruption from ongoing memory and chip shortages, impacting Apple’s roadmap for what is anticipated to be a significant product year.
