Apple Raises iCloud+ Prices in Multiple Countries

Following recent hardware price increases in the US and Japan, along with subscription hikes in the US and other markets, Apple has now raised iCloud+ prices in several countries. The changes affect Egypt, Nigeria, Türkiye, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, Vietnam, as well as Mauritius, the Republic of Congo, and Laos, where upgrades are billed in USD with possible VAT additions.

Updated rates show notable jumps: in Egypt, 50 GB went from £39.99 to £49.99, 2 TB from £499.99 to £599.99; in Nigeria, 50 GB rose from ₦900 to ₦1 300, 2 TB from ₦9 900 to ₦14 900; in Türkiye, 50 GB increased from 39.99 TL to 49.99 TL, 2 TB from 399.99 TL to 549.99 TL. Japan saw 50 GB move from ¥150 to ¥180 and 2 TB from ¥1 500 to ¥1 800. New Zealand’s 50 GB rose from $1.69 to $1.99, 2 TB from $16.99 to $19.99. Indonesia’s 50 GB tier remained unchanged at Rp 15 000 while higher tiers increased.

Additionally, Apple now lists Laos, Mauritius, and the Republic of Congo as regions where iCloud+ upgrades are charged in U.S. dollars, with prices such as $1.19 for 50 GB in Mauritius and the Republic of Congo, and $0.99 for 50 GB in Laos. The adjustments continue Apple’s broader trend of raising prices amid ongoing market pressures.
