Apple App Store price changes in 4 countries

Apple announced tax and price updates for apps, In-App Purchases, and subscriptions in several regions. Starting today, developer proceeds change in Morocco (20% VAT), Republic of the Congo (18% VAT), and Tanzania (DST increase to 3%). From September 14, prices will adjust in Israel, Indonesia, Morocco, and the Republic of the Congo unless developers selected those as base storefronts.

If a base storefront is chosen, prices there remain unchanged, but other storefronts adjust to maintain equalization. Apple notes that auto-renewable subscriptions won't see price changes, and manually managed prices are unaffected. New prices are already visible in App Store Connect.

These changes are part of Apple's routine process to account for tax and exchange rate fluctuations.
