Apple Maps has officially opened ad booking for businesses in the US and Canada, with ads set to appear soon. Businesses can now book promotional placements directly through Apple.

To celebrate the launch, Apple is offering a limited-time "Grand Opening Promo." Eligible businesses that book Maps ads and pay via credit card by October 11, 2026, will receive a 15% statement credit back for up to a year, with monthly credits capped at $1,000 USD.

Ads will be visible in two key areas: "Suggested Places" on the search screen before a user initiates a search, and within search results when they are relevant to a user's query. Apple has provided a webpage with further details on ad booking and their approach to advertising within Maps.
