Today Apple launched its latest Mac mini and Mac Studio models, and alongside the release, minor updates have been made to the company’s various Magic Keyboard accessories. The latest Magic Keyboards remove text labels from keys in favor of using glyphs instead. Apple did the same thing earlier this year with Mac Book Neo, Mac Book Air, and Mac Book Pro. Now, the Magic Keyboard has gotten the same revision.

The change applies across all new Magic Keyboard models: Magic Keyboard: $99, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID: $149, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad: $179. Common keys like tab, caps lock, return, shift, and delete drop text in favor of showing icons only. And on extended models with the numeric keypad, keys like Home, Page Up, and Page Down have brand new icons that replace the text.

Other than the transition to glyphs, the new Magic Keyboards otherwise appear the same as their predecessors. They all support USB-C and offer the same functionality and layouts as before. What do you think of the switch away from text labels on keys? Let us know in the comments.
