Apple Lets Jon Prosser Fight Liquid Glass Leak Lawsuit

Apple and Jon Prosser’s new counsel filed a motion to erase the default judgment that struck him last October. The move follows Prosser’s late hiring of an attorney and a promise to produce discovery.

The lawsuit began when Apple sued Prosser for leaking the Liquid Glass redesign. Apple also sued Michael Ramacciotti, who accessed a staff iPhone to show Prosser a pre‑release iOS 26 build. Prosser missed key deadlines, leading to the default.

Now Apple agrees to petition Judge James Donato to set aside the default, provided the court approves. The court must confirm the stipulation before Prosser can formally answer Apple’s claims. The case remains pending and will test how leaks affect future design releases.
