Over the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, Apple TV announced that Silo season 4 will premiere summer 2027 and serve as the series finale. Silo season 3 is currently airing, with new episodes arriving weekly through September 4. The announcement came via Apple TV's X account alongside updates on other sci-fi shows.

In the streaming era, multi-year gaps between seasons are common, especially for high-budget sci-fi like Silo. However, Apple has accelerated returns by granting advance greenlights. For Silo, both seasons 3 and 4 were greenlit simultaneously and shot back-to-back. Six weeks of new episodes remain in season 3, but the wait for season 4 won't be too long.
