Blackstone Inc. will lead a $600 million equity investment in Indian artificial intelligence startup Neysa, the company announced Monday. The deal coincides with the India AI Impact Summit, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to position India as a global contender in AI technology. Blackstone has been an active player in digital infrastructure globally with prior investments.

Neysa plans to raise an additional $600 million in debt financing to deploy more than 20,000 graphics processing units across India for AI training and high-performance applications. Founded in 2023, the company provides GPU-based AI infrastructure to firms in financial services, technology, healthcare, and public sectors.

The investment continues Blackstone's successful AI investment streak in 2025 and marks its entry into India's growing AI market. Other investors include Teachers' Venture Growth, TVS Capital, 360 ONE, and Nexus. Blackstone will partner with Neysa CEO Sharad Sanghi to accelerate growth in a competitive market facing established players like Bharti Airtel Ltd.
