Paul Grabham was convicted of murdering his wife Kirsty Wilkinson, whose body was found in a pink wedding dress carrier months after she vanished. Kirsty, 24, was reported missing by Grabham on March 30, 2009, last seen after a night out. Her body was discovered in a suitcase near Porthcawl, Wales, on April 6, 2009, wrapped in bin liners and the pink carrier she bought for her February 2008 wedding.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Richard Shepherd described the attack as 'violent, vicious and prolonged,' noting Kirsty suffered a fractured bone behind her tongue and fingerprint bruising around her throat. Grabham's alibi of returning drunk alone was contradicted by neighbor reports of screams and dragging sounds around 3-4 am, aligning with forensic evidence placing his phone at the dump site at 10:30 am on March 31st. Police found blood in Grabham's flat and his clothes, proving Kirsty died there before her body was moved.

Grabham was sentenced to life with a minimum 19-year term. Kirsty's sisters, Hayley and Kirsty, were extremely close, with Hayley devastated by her loss. The case, detailed in a new documentary, highlights the brutality of the crime and the forensic work that solved it.
