The electric vehicle market has reached a milestone with seven models now claiming over 450 miles of range on a single charge, effectively eliminating range anxiety for most drivers. Volvo's EX60 P12 AWD leads the pack at 503 miles WLTP, followed closely by BMW's iX3 50 xDrive at 500 miles. These vehicles represent a dramatic shift from the early days when Tesla dominated the long-range EV conversation.

Mercedes-Benz appears twice on the list with the CLA 250+ delivering 483 miles for $55,750 and the EQS 450+ offering up to 481 miles for $99,900. The CLA's achievement is particularly noteworthy as it provides more range than its six-figure sibling at less than half the price, winning the 2026 European Car of the Year award. Audi's A6 Sportback e-tron Performance rounds out the top five with 470 miles and an 800V charging system that can add 270 miles in 21 minutes.

Tesla's Model 3 Long Range RWD still holds its own at 466 miles, though it's no longer sold in the U.S. market. The French DS No8 matches that range while adding luxury features like road-scanning technology. This new generation of EVs proves that long-distance electric driving is now practical and accessible across various price points, from the $55,750 Mercedes CLA to the $84,200 Audi, fundamentally changing the conversation about electric vehicle adoption.
