A Delta Township man killed a young child and injured three others during a violent rampage on Feb. 13, according to the Eaton County Sheriff's Office. The suspect drove his vehicle into a family walking in the Green Meadows Drive area before exiting and opening fire, authorities said.

A 72-year-old woman remains in critical condition, while a 37-year-old man and 33-year-old woman are hospitalized in stable condition. A bystander who attempted to help was also seriously injured. The Michigan State Police assisted in taking the suspect into custody.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community. The suspect is being held at Eaton County Jail pending charges from the Eaton County Prosecutor. Police have not released the suspect's identity as he has not yet been charged or arraigned.
