Xiaomi's performance-focused YU7 GT SUV is set to challenge global EV leaders with its staggering 990 horsepower output. According to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology filings, the dual-motor electric vehicle combines 386 hp from the front motor and 603 hp from the rear, theoretically enabling a top speed of 186 mph. This positions the YU7 GT as a potential disruptor in the lucrative SUV segment, where Xiaomi already competes with its SU7 Ultra sedan.

The vehicle's aggressive styling, drawing clear inspiration from supercars like the Ferrari Purosangue and McLaren 750S, is paired with extensive customization options, including varied brake caliper colors and body decals. Priced between 450,000 and 500,000 yuan ($65k-$72k), it undercuts premium offerings like the Porsche Macan EV and Tesla Model X on paper.
