RWE reported a 25% jump in adjusted earnings for the first quarter, lifting the German utility’s outlook as its offshore wind segment outperformed.

Adjusted EBITDA rose to €1.63 billion, while adjusted EPS climbed to €0.85. The wind unit’s earnings climbed to €570 million from €380 million year‑on‑year, offsetting weaker trading in its core generation business.

Net income increased to €608 million, up from €505 million a year earlier, confirming the company’s full‑year guidance. Strong wind results give investors confidence that RWE’s renewable strategy is delivering tangible returns.

These figures underscore the growing role of offshore wind in Germany’s energy mix and suggest that RWE’s transition strategy is paying off, reinforcing its position as a leading renewable‑energy player.
