Porsche AG confirms it will achieve its full‑year guidance as a strategic reset starts to deliver results 가진.

The German luxury sports‑car maker announced plans to cut 5,000 jobs on top of the 3,900 already announced, as it drives efficiencies and repositions to boost competitiveness.

Chief Executive Michael Leiters has outlined broader plans—investing in new gas‑powered and hybrid models, prioritizing profitability over volume, and trimming model variants—though he will present the complete strategy at an investor event in October.

The company previously warned that earnings this year would be hit by several hundred million euros of realignment costs and now expects a three-digit-million‑euro hit in the second half of 2026.

This move is part of Porsche’s broader effort to strengthen its market position amid rising pressure from electric‑vehicle competitors and tightening regulatory standards.

By focusing on a leaner product portfolio and accelerating technology development, Porsche aims to improve margins and return to sustainable growth.
