World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture linked to Donald Trump’s family, has partnered with satellite startup Spacecoin. The deal involves a strategic exchange of digital tokens, aiming to merge decentralized finance with satellite internet connectivity. Spacecoin recently launched three satellites to provide internet access in underserved areas, enabling financial transactions without traditional service providers.

World Liberty launched its USD1 stablecoin last year, with circulation exceeding $3.3 billion, partly due to a large investor using them to buy a $2 billion stake in Binance. The partnership seeks to enable payments and settlement in environments with limited traditional financial infrastructure, a key goal for the Trump family's crypto business.

Spacecoin founder Tae Oh views the partnership as providing infrastructure for first-time internet users to transact financially. Meanwhile, World Liberty recently applied for a U.S. banking license to establish a national trust bank focused on stablecoin operations, aligning with broader industry efforts to bridge digital assets and mainstream finance.
