HBX Group shares surged over 5% after the Spanish travel services company unveiled a €100 million share buyback and its first-ever dividend plan. Both initiatives require shareholder approval at the February 12 annual meeting, marking the firm's first formal capital return since its market debut.

The buyback, representing roughly 7% of issued share capital, will be executed by Bank of America through 2026 and 2027. Management also proposed a dividend policy targeting a 20% payout ratio of adjusted earnings, beginning with an interim dividend for fiscal year 2026.

This move signals a shift toward returning capital to investors as HBX matures post-listing. The dual strategy aims to boost shareholder value and confidence, with execution details subject to final market conditions and regulatory approvals.
