FedEx Corporation and private equity firm Advent have agreed to acquire Polish locker service firm InPost SA for approximately €7.79 billion ($9.22 billion). The consortium offered €15.60 per share, representing a 17.3% premium to InPost's previous closing price in Amsterdam.

InPost's board has recommended the acquisition to shareholders, with at least 48% of shareholders already supporting the deal. The Polish firm will continue operating under its current brand with founder and CEO Rafat Brzoska remaining in charge, maintaining its headquarters in Poland.

The acquisition will strengthen InPost's expansion strategy in Europe amid growing e-commerce markets. Following completion, expected in the second half of 2026, InPost will enter commercial agreements with FedEx, creating enhanced logistics capabilities across the European continent.
