Goldman Sachs Lawyer's Epstein Emails Raise Questions

Kathryn Ruemmler, former Goldman Sachs top lawyer, exchanged emails with Jeffrey Epstein about a 2012 Secret Service prostitution scandal during her time as White House counsel. The communications, sent months after leaving her White House position in 2014, included Ruemmler complaining about "this secret service crap" and forwarding detailed, nonpublic information about the investigation.

Bloomberg News revealed that Ruemmler shared drafts containing behind-the-scenes details about the White House Counsel's office role in handling the scandal. The dozen or so exchanges between Ruemmler and Epstein occurred after she departed the Obama administration. The revelations come just weeks after Ruemmler's resignation from Goldman Sachs.

These communications raise questions about the handling of sensitive information and the nature of Ruemmler's relationship with Epstein. The timing of these emails, occurring after her White House tenure but during her transition to private sector roles, adds another layer to the ongoing scrutiny of Epstein's connections with high-profile figures.
