OWC announced a new Thunderbolt 5 Dock with Dual HDMI priced at $349.99, targeting creative and business professionals on Mac and PC. The dock features two HDMI 2.1 ports enabling dual-display support at up to 4K 240Hz or 8K 60Hz using DSC, eliminating the need for separate adapters. A third display can connect via the downstream Thunderbolt or USB-C port. It delivers up to 140W of power to a host laptop and 30W via a front USB-C port for accessories. Connectivity includes 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, UHS-II SD and microSD slots, and a downstream Thunderbolt 5 port for SSDs and RAID systems. The dock supports Thunderbolt 5, 4, 3, USB4, and USB-C, and can be oriented horizontally or vertically. OWC's Dock Ejector software enables simultaneous drive ejection, while a macOS driver adds support for Apple's USB SuperDrive. The dock launches in early November.

OWC also introduced a 1.5-meter Thunderbolt 5 USB-C cable supporting 80Gbps bidirectional data and 240W power delivery. Compatible with Thunderbolt 5, 4, 3, USB4, and USB-C, it carries a three-year warranty and arrives mid-October for $58.99.
