Max Verstappen secured pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix, continuing his recent dominance despite Mercedes' struggles. Championship leader Kimi Antonelli and George Russell qualified fourth and sixth respectively, while Verstappen's Red Bull teammate Isack Hadjar failed to set a time and will start from the back. Esteban Ocon and Lance Stroll both had early offs in Q1 but appeared undamaged.
Hadjar later reported gear issues and did not return to the track. In Q2, Lewis Hamilton led early, but Verstappen overtook him in Q3 with a 1m31.373s lap, just 0.123s ahead of Hamilton's 1m31.496s. Antonelli briefly held third before being overtaken by Leclerc and Norris.
Major progress from Arvid Lindblad and Gabriel Bortoleto eliminated Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll from Q2. Hamilton maintained strong form throughout, though Verstappen ultimately prevailed in the final shootout.
