Provectus Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Seatbelt Consulting, Romania's largest provider of occupational health and safety services. The deal was funded through a blend of equity from the fund and acquisition financing from Uni Credit Bank Romania, which acted as the sole lender. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded by Bogdan Neagu, Seatbelt serves more than 1,300 corporate clients nationwide and has built its position through a proprietary technology platform and an integrated service offering. Neagu will remain a significant shareholder and continue to work alongside the management team under Provectus’ ownership.

With the deal closed, Provectus intends to pursue a buy‑and‑build strategy, backing further investment in digital capabilities and an expanded service range while pursuing selective acquisitions to consolidate a fragmented market. The aim is to establish Romania’s leading integrated occupational health and safety platform.

Cosmin Comșa, Investment Director and Romania Country Lead at Provectus, said the partnership will support continued growth through investment, digitalisation and a disciplined buy‑and‑build approach, crediting Uni Credit Bank Romania for its instrumental support. The founder sees this as a milestone and the beginning of a new chapter, pointing to ongoing investment in people, technology and services.
