Garan Croft and twin brother Ioan have turned professional, signing with Matchroom Sport in February after leaving the GB squad. Training together fuels a fierce rivalry; the twins say they push each other on assault bikes, climbs, and sparring. They never fight because Ioan is a middleweight and Garan a super‑welterweight. Matchroom’s backing has lifted them from a local club to a national stage, giving them exposure and the chance to fight for titles.

Both aim to secure a British title within a year, hoping the Matchroom platform will bring big nights back to Wales. With two to three hundred fans backing them each fight, the brothers are poised to elevate Welsh boxing on the UK scene.
