Tuivasa-Sheck joins Wakefield Trinity

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has agreed to join Wakefield Trinity for the 2027 season, leaving the New Zealand Warriors after a decorated NRL career. The 32-year-old dual-code international will sign a two-year deal with the West Yorkshire club, bringing significant experience to a team currently making strong progress in Super League.

Wakefield, who were relegated in 2023 but returned with a sixth-place finish last season, are clearly investing in their future. Coach Daryl Powell has secured Tyson Smoothy and Jazz Tevaga this season, but Tuivasa-Sheck represents Trinity's most significant international recruitment to date.
