Wakefield Trinity reached their first ever Super League semi-final with a 26-16 victory over Leigh Leopards in the Eliminators. Despite Emre Guler's red card reducing the home side to 12 players, Trinity controlled the first half through tries from Tyson Smoothy and Tom Johnstone, converted by Max Jowitt. Leigh hit back before the break through David Armstrong, but Wakefield's forward pack dominated the second half.

Isaiah Vagan and Caius Faatili extended the lead, though Guler's sending-off allowed Leigh to score through Lachlan Lam and Innes Senior. A final Jowitt penalty secured the win. Wakefield will now face either Wigan Warriors or Leeds Rhinos, depending on the Warrington Wolves vs Hull KR outcome.
