Ireland's Aaron McKenna defeated Etinosa Oliha to become the IBF middleweight world champion in a dream homecoming at the 3Arena in Dublin. The fight marked McKenna's first world title bout and his first professional contest in Ireland after building an undefeated record in America.

Cheered by a raucous crowd, McKenna started cautiously, using his jab and left hook to control early rounds. Oliha, also unbeaten, rallied in the second with heavy right hooks. McKenna pressed forward, forcing Oliha back and landing telling shots through the middle rounds, though a clash opened a cut on McKenna's forehead in the 11th.

In the final round, McKenna moved sharply, outboxing a desperate Oliha to secure a unanimous decision victory. The scorecards read 118-110, 117-111, and 116-112. McKenna celebrated by climbing the ropes, thanking Zuffa Boxing and his father, who sacrificed everything for him and brother Stevie.
