Mary Falconer is the 2025 Scottish Bouldering Championਆਂand Irish National Lead Champion. The 15-year-old transformed on a wall, turning a shy teenager into an elite athlete. She took up bouldering three years ago to cope with her mother Anca's death from a rare cancer. "It helped me a lot mentally," she says, channeling emotion into training.

Now a top youth climber in the UK, she travels Europe chasing the 2028 Olympics. Though selected for England early, she wants to represent her mother's native Romania and has already મતbeen accepted. She will compete in two European events this summer and Romania's national championships later.
