Marc Marquez extended his stranglehold on the Sachsenring with a commanding 10th German MotoGP win, crossing the line 1.996 seconds clear of Aprilia-Trackhouse riders Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez. The Ducati rider completed a perfect weekend — sprint victory, pole position, and race control from lights to flag — marking his 13th triumph at the German venue and equalling Giacomo Agostini's records for most wins at a single event and most victories at one circuit in the premier class.

The 33-year-old, returning from foot and shoulder surgery in May, moved to third in the championship, 18 points adrift of leader Jorge Martin (fifth on Sunday). Ogura's podium vaults him to second overall. The weekend's major casualty was Marco Bezzecchi, who broke his collarbone in a violent qualifying crash at 200 km/h and will miss the British Grand Prix after surgery, dropping to fourth in the standings.

Alex Marquez's exit from second on lap 10 removed the closest threat, but the elder Marquez's pace was sufficient regardless. With Silverstone up next on 9 August, the title fight sharpens: Martin holds a slender advantage, but Marquez's Sachsenring mastery proves he remains the benchmark when fit.
