Madison Keys captured her third Eastbourne championship with a 7-5 6-4 victory over Tatjana Maria, joining Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova as the only players to win the women's event three or more times. The 31-year-old American, who claimed her first WTA title in Eastbourne back in 2014, now holds 11 tour titles after this impressive straight-sets triumph.

Keys' powerful serve and aggressive net play overwhelmed Maria, ranked 112th in the world, despite the German veteran's resilient defense. Maria, 38, had won Queen's in 2025 and reached the Eastbourne semi-finals in 2022, but couldn't handle Keys' consistent pressure. The American broke early in the first set and recovered from two double faults on set points to secure the opening frame.

In the second set, Keys finally converted a break in the seventh game after Maria initially dug out of trouble with effective slice shots. Keys closed out the match on her first championship point, having not dropped a set all week. Both players now head to Wimbledon, with Keys facing Kayla Day in the first round.

Meanwhile, Karolina Muchova won the Bad Homburg title after Naomi Osaka retired with an ankle injury trailing 6-1 1-0. Osaka lost the first set before withdrawing, allowing the Czech to claim her second title of 2025 and return to the world's top 10.
