Livingstone Slams England Setup

Liam Livingstone has launched a scathing attack on England's cricket setup, revealing he had no desire to be part of the recent T20 World Cup semi-finalists. The 32-year-old all-rounder, who lost his central contract in September after last playing for England at the Champions Trophy, described his tournament experience as the "worst" of his career.

Livingstone struggled during England's dismal Champions Trophy campaign, recording a highest score of 14 and taking just three wickets. He claimed brief phone calls with coach Brendon McCullum and director of cricket Rob Key lasted no longer than one minute each. The all-rounder sought help with his form but received minimal support.

The criticism comes amid England's difficult winter, which included a 4-1 Ashes defeat. Livingstone, who has played 100 matches for England, now plans to focus on franchise cricket with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. England maintains the door remains open despite the public complaints about communication.
