Huddersfield Giants secured a 30-18 victory over Leigh Leopards, keeping the Leopards waiting for a play-off spot. Huddersfield scored five tries through Rushton, Milne, Evalds, and Geyer twice. Leigh replied with tries from Trout, Hanley, and Mulhern.

Huddersfield led 14-6 at half-time and extended their lead after the break. Victory moved Huddersfield up to 12th in the table. Leigh remain fifth but face a nervy finish to the season.

Huddersfield coach Adrian Lam praised his side's physical performance. The win was Huddersfield's seventh of the season, with five wins in their last six matches. Leigh had won eight of their past nine games entering the fixture.
