WBO super-middleweight world champion Hamzah Sheeraz credits a moment of inspiration while working as an apprentice electrician in Eden Hazard's apartment for reigniting his boxing career.

After a period away from the sport, Sheeraz, then 27, felt his ambition surge while working in the former Chelsea winger's London home. This encounter led him back to the gym within two weeks, and he was signed by Frank Warren's Queensberry on his 18th birthday. Sheeraz is now preparing for his first title defense against Simon Zachenhuber on Anthony Joshua's undercard in Saudi Arabia.

Sheeraz, who holds an undefeated record of 23-0-1, captured his world title in May with a second-round stoppage. He openly expresses a desire to fight boxing legend Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, viewing it as a dream opportunity to test himself against an idol he has studied since childhood. Sheeraz is confident in his path to greatness, believing his true calling is yet to come.
