Golf Brand Good Good Apologises for Controversial Advert

Golf content creator Good Good has apologised and removed an advert that showed a woman being pushed to the ground as she reached for a man's golf club.

Callaway, which has partnered with Good Good since 2023, expressed disappointment with the content but appreciated Good Good's swift response. "We look forward to working together to ensure a more inclusive space in golf," the company said in a statement.

Good Good, launched as a YouTube channel in 2020, has grown into one of the largest content creators in golf, producing regular clips of men and women competing in golf challenges, made-for-TV shows, and adverts for golf clothing and merchandise.

The PGA Tour, which has been collaborating more closely with social media creators and announced plans for the inaugural Good Good Championship in Texas this November, condemned the advert. "The PGA Tour believes in golf's ability to bring people together and create a welcoming environment for all," said a spokesperson. "We do not condone violence in any form, and the since-deleted video does not reflect our values or commitment to inclusivity and respect."
