Australia thrash Bangladesh in second Test as Starc takes 10 wickets

Australia bounced back from their shock defeat to Bangladesh in the first Test to win the second by an innings and 51 runs at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, drawing the series 1-1. Mitchell Starc took 10 wickets in the match, including 6-12 in the first innings as Bangladesh were skittled for 64, and 4-39 in the second as they collapsed to 95 all out. Pat Cummins claimed 3-10 and Nathan Lyon 3-25 in the second innings. Earlier, Australia were bowled out for 210, with Cameron Green top-scoring with 67 and Lyon adding an unbeaten 32 for a 146-run lead. Shoriful Islam took 7-48 for Bangladesh. Starc, named Player of the Match and Series with 12 wickets at 12.08, moved to 10th on the all-time Test wicket list with 445.

Australia next face world Test champions India in a three-match series in October.
