Great Britain capped their World Cup campaign in style, claiming six gold medals at the Lucerne regatta to finish second overall behind the USA. The women's quadruple sculls quartet of Hannah Scott, Lola Anderson, Finnola Stratton and Imogen Grant delivered the standout performance, controlling their final from start to finish. Grant's transition from lightweight to heavyweight sculling proved successful as she joined Olympic champions Scott and Anderson in a new-look crew that showed impressive depth.

The men's crews added three more golds through the quadruple sculls and fours, with both boats building commanding leads before holding off late challenges. Benjamin Pritchard secured the PR1 men's single sculls title, recovering from an early deficit to defeat Australia's Erik Horrie. Lauren Henry's patient approach earned her the women's single sculls victory ahead of world champion Fiona Murtagh.

GB's women's eight never trailed once taking the lead, defeating Australia and the USA convincingly. Despite missing the opening regatta in Plovdiv, GB's 94 points pushed them ahead of the Netherlands by a single point. The USA's 114-point haul from competing in both events secured their 2026 World Cup title.

These performances signal GB's readiness for Paris 2024, where they'll aim to convert World Cup success into Olympic medals across multiple boat classes.
