The Belfast Wolves and Dublin Guardians will play their first game of the European T20 Premier League in Voorburg on Thursday.

Both teams feature a mix of familiar names from local and international cricket. The Wolves, with a motto of "family, fearless, and fun," are captained by Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell. IPL veteran David Miller and New Zealand wicketkeeper Devon Conway add spark, while Chris Jordan, a World Cup winner and England's second-highest T20 wicket-taker, bolsters the bowling.

Local presence includes Mark Adair, Matthew Humphreys, and Ireland's one-day captain Paul Stirling, joined by Gavin Hoey, Tim Tector, and Lorcan Tucker. The Guardians' Irish contingent features Craig Young, Matthew Hollard, Josh Little, George Dockrell, Benjamin Calitz, and Harry Tector. New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell, fresh from an unbeaten Test century against England, is a star attraction, with former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin as captain and mentor.
