Derry City and St Patrick's Athletic played out a 0-0 draw at Celtic Park in their League of Ireland Premier Division clash. The home side created the better chances throughout, with Adam O'Reilly and Kevin Dos Santos linking well in the first half. Ghana international Joseph Anang produced a fine save to deny Dos Santos, keeping the visitors in the contest.

The second half saw Derry City dominate possession but fail to convert. James Olayinka missed a glorious opportunity after O'Reilly's clever pass, while Eddie Beach remained largely untested until late in the game. Kian Leavy caused problems for the Derry defense down the right flank, with his crosses narrowly missing their targets.

Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages. Barry Cotter's long throw created chaos in the St Pat's area, but Henry Rylah couldn't connect cleanly. The result leaves both sides mid-table, with Derry facing Shelbourne next while St Pat's travel to champions Shamrock Rovers.
